as you know I’ve finished all my assignments and the only thing left is my feedback sessions and receiving of grades!!
We had are first feedback session yesterday for our film; we got a C10 which we are happy with as a group because we were quite disappointed with how it turned out in certain areas. My next feedback session is tomorrow for my directing module which I am looking forward too because I am quite proud of the work I did, I enjoyed it too which is good. The only other grade we are waiting for is for our essay but it has been postponed because they have not finished marking them yet.
The main thing is not to get worried about the outcome (one of my friends stresses about what grade she will get), the work is done now and there’s nothing you can do to change the grade. They will give you the reasons why they gave that grade and the best thing to do is really listen so you can learn for next time.
If your grade is given as a group, and you feel there is someone that hasn’t pulled their weight and doesn’t deserve the same grade, you can contact your module leader and they will take it in consideration when giving out grades. They take contribution to the group from any member seriously.
Don’t get yourself down if you didn’t get the grade you wanted or thought you deserved, just remember the grades your lecturers give you are only provisional and will be sent to an exam board. Professionals give these grades to you so they obviously know what they are talking about. However if you feel strongly that you have been wrongly examined and your grades are a considerable difference to what you expected/ was asked of you. Then you can chase it up and have it re-examined but this very rarely happens.
Anyway there is not a lot more I can say about receiving feedback so speak to you soon!! =]
